What Is Maori tattoo?
Maori tattoo is called 'Ta moko', It is the traditional form of face or body marking done by the native people of New Zealand. It is distinct from tattoo of today where the skin is actually carved out by a chisel rather then just being punctured. This left the skin with grooves rather then a smooth surface.
